SJRS TRICKY TRAY – Doors Open at 5PM

MANDATORY FUNDRAISER

The Tricky Tray is one of the mandatory fundraisers for each family. This means that each family must provide one tray with a retail value of $100.00.

BUY-OUT OPTION

We also offer a ” buy-out” option. This gives a family the option of sending in a monetary donation of $125 in lieu of a tray. This money will be used to buy a popular item possibly missing from the Tricky Tray donations we receive (example: an IPod) or it is deposited to the earnings of the event. It is preferable that each family donate a tray, however, we realize this option may suit your needs, schedule or particular situation.

TRAYS

The trays should come to school the week of October 6th or sooner if you have one ready. Early is NEVER a problem! The trays should be dropped off “ready and arranged”. This means the tray should be in a nicely decorated basket, box or creative package, ready to be displayed wrapped in clear wrapping.

Please include with your tray, two index cards indicating the following:

  • Title of the tray
  • Donated by (Family name and grade)
  • Retail value in dollars
  • Contents of tray

Do not permanently attach these index cards to your tray, as we will need them for our records. You can attach a nicely decorated sign or card indicating the title of your tray and who it is donated from. This is the only information needed on the trays for the night of the event.
