Welcome to Art

Welcome!  My name is Marina Samuels, I teach Art and assist as the Science Aide for 4th through 8th grade.

This year we’ll be having a lot of fun with different techniques, new materials and multi-cultural art appreciation.

Grades K through 2
We will be exploring and learning about line, pattern and repetition.  The students will be experimenting with exciting ways and methods in painting.

Grades 3 through 5
We will continue to develop their artistic skills in drawing, printmaking and painting with emphasis on the elements of design.

Grades 6 through 8
We will demonstrate their knowledge and use of media by continuing their creative exploration with a variety of media.  The 7th and 8th graders take part in Teen Arts, a state wide celebration of the arts.
