Unit Program |

The Unit Program was established to help foster the relationship between school and family. It is an opportunity for our parents to build and strengthen relationships between and among each other as well as members of the staff. We believe this interaction helps to strengthen the community in which we live and our children go to school. It also helps to foster the family atmosphere we so cherish here at St. Joseph Regional School. Our unit program requires 20 units per family, and 12 units for single-families (these amounts are revised annually). It is our preference that each family takes the opportunity to participate in any small or large way possible in the school and earn their units in whole or in part through that participation. We also welcome extended family members to participate and earn units for you. That being said, we do recognize hectic schedules and individual circumstances don’t always make participation possible in whole or in part and that is why the option of a payout for any unearned unit(s) is available at a rate of $10 per unit. The Parent Resource Coordinator will issue periodic statements throughout the year. Event – Units Earned:Attend H&S Meetings = 1 per family per meeting If a family owes any units at the end of the school year, a $10 monetary payment per unit owed will be required. Please make sure you sign the “Volunteer Book” on your family page when you volunteer your time. Thank you for your support! Please Note: Chaperoning Class Trips, chaperoning/attending classroom parties and donations made to the school are not part of the Unit Program. |
